Our Maytag washer broke down and we didn't get it fixed for a number of days because we left for a vacation. After getting back, I began to panic because we had suitcases full of dirty clothes.

My husband called San Francisco Appliance Repair. The technician showed up at the appointed time, charged us exactly what he estimated, and fixed our broken washer in half an hour. I also asked him to take a look at a gas line behind the dryer because sometimes it seems like I smell gas. He did that for no additional charge and I asked him if he knows of any reliable plumbers. He told me that he knows some companies do make recommendations but he didn’t want to put his reputation in jeopardy by suggesting a company he can’t personally guarantee. Over the weekend I discovered that my refrigerator was leaking and I spent all day Saturday dealing with the mess. I didn’t know of any appliance repair companies in San Francisco, so called an old friend who recommended San Francisco Appliance Repair. They had done some work for her in the past and she was very pleased with the service.
I called to see when they could send a technician. Even though it was Sunday, they were able to send an appliance repair technician a couple hours later and he fixed my leaking refrigerator quickly.

I really liked that the repairman, after checking the refrigerator, offered me two repair options. The first one was to remove the water line, which would mean we wouldn’t have ice or cold drinking water. This was the less expensive option. The second option was to take out the existing water line and install a completely new one. I went with the second option and, in addition, I asked him to vacuum behind the refrigerator, which the technician did without an extra charge.

I was definitely happy with the service and the price was reasonable. And most important, I am VERY glad that my leaking refrigerator was fixed on a Sunday afternoon.
